15 of the Rarest Golf Clubs Up For Auction (Tiger, Hogan, Michael Jordan, Howard Hughes, etc.)

From Michael Jordan to Howard Hughes, many famous personally owned golf clubs make up Golden Age Golf Auction’s Spring Auction. Collectors Dashboard has been following all the items in the Spring Auction at Golden Age Golf Auctions. Bidding started on March 23 and the final bidding date is April 9 and it’s time to look at some of the famously owned golf clubs specifically.

This represents an opportunity for collectors to display (or even sink a put with) Tiger Woods’ personal putter. For collectors and investors, some of these clubs and irons may look best safely displayed on the wall to be shown off as the trophy collectible they are.

Collectors Dashboard evaluates collectibles as an alternative asset class. The same capital that could have been invested into stocks or bonds is being used to buy high-end collectibles like Tiger Woods Slam winning Irons as they close in on $1,000,000.

Here are the specific lots that stood out to us when we gave a lookover, but keep in mind that there are over 600 lots up for bid covering many gold items in this auction. Images below have been provided by Golden Age Golf Auctions.
