A limited edition watch offered only in the United States has been announced by Raymond Weil. Right now they offer a signup to receive early access before official release of the 200 examples produced. Expected to be in high demand, Collectors Dashboard has both what’s offered and for how much to the collector it will be.

Collectors Dashboard evaluates high-end collectibles as an alternative asset class. This means Limited Edition watches are attracting the same capital that could have been invested into stocks or bonds. Many high-end watches now cost thousands of dollars (or much more). Collectors have a passion to own certain brands, and investors may be competing for the same watches either intending to make a profit or as a store of value.

Each watch is engraved “USA Limited Edition” in red and individually numbered. The caseback on the reverse side of the watch is screwed down with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Crafted of stainless steel with a gray PVD coating. A blue flange marked with a minute track encircles the skeletonized dial.

At 6 o’clock the calibre RW2785’s balance wheel, the Blue Skeleton Freelancer Limited Edition’s continually beating heart, is visible. At 12 o’clock the openworked barrel displays the mainspring.
