Collectors Dashboard evaluates collectibles as an alternative asset class. This means collectibles are attracting the same capital that could have been invested into stocks or bonds. Many collectibles now cost thousands of dollars (or much more). Collectors with a passion to own a collectible for years frequently have to compete directly against investors whose only desire is to make a profit in the future.

Perhaps most exciting and iconic are boxing gloves from the Rocky films. There are multiple in this auction. A serious collector of the film franchise or the actor must own a pair. Gloves available on December 5th include the pair from Rocky III estimated to sell between $10,000.00 to $20,000.00. Training boxing gloves from the film Rocky Balboa are estimated to sell for $6,000.00 to $8,000.00.

Other boxing gloves used in the Creed installments will be sold but do not have estimates provided. What can be more sought after to the collector than Rocky’s TUF-WEAR bright red boxing gloves? Original handwritten notebooks filled with story development ideas for the first four Rocky films are estimated to sell between $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 each.

With film franchises that span decades this auction has something for every collector. Collectors Dashboard looks forward to following the sales and tracking collectors from an actor so well known this December 5th. Sylvester Stallone is still a current actor in 2021 and will be for the foreseeable future.
