The Ultimate Tiger Woods Tickets & Badges Collection Up For Auction!

In a few days the sports world will get to know if Tiger Woods is a man or a machine. The thought that Woods is able to even hit a golf ball anywhere close to tournament level this soon after his auto accident injuries is amazing enough. But to be in The Masters this soon? Well, there is greatness and then there is GOAT-ness.

The ultimate Tiger Woods tickets and badges collection is up for auction!

Sports collectors have paid up handily for Tiger Woods’ memorabilia. Cards, clubs, and tickets have all commanded high prices in auctions. But then there is an auction for a group of event tickets that goes above and beyond normal “Tiger Woods tickets.”

There are two current Tiger Woods lots in the PWCC Marketplace Monthly Premier Auction ending April 16, 2022 that deserve the attention of serious collectors. They are probably going to attract sports investors as well. Tickets have become a hot commodity because the supply is finite, and finding tickets in good condition is a challenge when most people merely shove their tickets into a pocket (or worse).

The top-billing ticket from PWCC’s April Premier Auction is a ticket from the 1992 Nissan Los Angeles Open Riviera Country Club, which is Tiger Woods’ first PGA tournament. The grade is a sharp PSA 7, and the notation says “PSA Population 1 of 1 – None Graded Higher.” The current bid was last seen at $24,000.00. Image below by PWCC Marketplace.

A second lot of tickets is even more impressive when considering the effort behind assembling this historic collection. This is a group of Tiger Woods PGA Tour Ticket & Badge wins — 81 different tickets and badges in all! Lot #13 is shown to be PSA graded and it features 81 of 82 PGA victories. Tiger Woods himself probably doesn’t even have memorabilia on hand from 81 of 82 victories. This also ends on April 16, 2022 and the current bid was last seen at $15,000.00. The image below is only a portion of the entire montage and it was taken from the PWCC Marketplace website.

Tiger Woods PGA ticket win lot

The 1992 Nissan Los Angeles Open Riviera Country Club ticket for Tiger Woods’ first PGA tournament (as a 16 year-old amateur) may be where the current money is. That said, just imagine the effort that would be required in 2022 to assemble 81 different PGA tickets and badges from all of those victories. Looking them up and assembling a checklist might take more than most collectors could ever dedicate enough time to even begin that task. The full description and auction are available, but this should sum up how special the ticket is:

Offered is an exceptionally rare, and important 1st PGA tournament ticket stub, encased within a PSA 7 holder and ranking as the only specimen to pass through PSA’s grading floor. This is a museum worthy asset, which comes with PWCC’s highest recommendation.

PWCC Marketplace concluded the 81 tickets and badges lot:

Offered is a once in a lifetime offering, built over time with patience and love, featuring tickets and badges from 81 of the 82 PGA wins of Tiger’s. The bulk of the lot is assessed by PSA and is a necessary assembly to add to any passionate Tiger collection.

Due to the vast number of tickets in the 81 tickets/badges lot, we chose to not include the image montages in full because frankly the publishing tool just doesn’t do it the justice that is deserved.

PWCC also has four Tiger Woods sports cards which are all impressive enough to be featured on their own as well. These lots are all ending on the same April 16, 2022 Monthly Premier auction:
