It is always sad to hear about the passing away of great sports legends. Pele was without a doubt on of soccer’s GOAT players, and for many decades his status would have been unrivaled. Not enough words can honor the great man.
Pelé’s career started for Santos at the ripe age of 15 years old. He joined Brazil’s national team at just 16 years of age. Perhaps his most impressive stat was being the only player to win 3 FIFA World Cups (1958, 1962 and 1970). He is the all-time leading scorer for Brazil with 77 goals from 92 games. He is also Santos’ all-time top scorer with 643 goals in 659 games.
All I can do is offer tribute for some purchases made over the last year, an autograph obtained in recent months and another early card from Pele’s great career.
